**UPDATE AUG 7** I have been very ill the past week and a half. I don't know how I got a very bad infection in my fingers ( of all places ) and because this can compromise the kidney transplant, I am on very strong antibiotics....Please know that I am not ignoring anyone, I am seriously unable to anwser anyone right now...hopefully in a day or two I will be better..thanks**

I have decided on hosting my first contest on deviantart. I do hope that you enter !!!

As a celebration for the gift of life that God has granted my husband and I recently, I have decided to host a contest. My husband has suffered from complete renal failure ( kidney ) for the past 2 years.

Your submission should deplict some form of hope. Hope can be shown in any form ( example: color, gesture, emotion ) and is your interpertation of the word. Please include a brief explanation in your deviant comment as to why/how your deviation is about HOPE.

RULES

-Must be a new deviation. The date on the deviation must reflect a date no earlier than July 16/2008.

-You can use stock images, but, you need to credit the Stock account/creator in your deviation. Do not simply change the colour or size etc of the stock image. It must be an original piece of work created by you !!

-Only 1 entry per person. I have never really understood allowing more than one entry !!! If you want to change your deviation later in the contest ( made changes etc ), please let me know and we will see what we can do.

-Must clearly state on your deviation that this is for the HOPE CONTEST. This way others will know about the contest !

-Any medium is accepted.

**The reason I am making this contest so long is because after the surgery, I will literally be in hospital/bed for about 6-8 weeks. If there is a problem and I need to extend the contest, please try to be understanding. I will honestly do all I can to honour the contest end date.**
