I have been playing around with Polaroid Image Collages and Wet Image Transfers again. This time, I double (actually tripled ) exposed a photo containing a very reflective puddle (reflecting the trees and sky ) and Bill's eye and his foot. The second photo was of a feather we found at the park.

I basically used a wooden dowel to add shadows and highlights. This is done a bit during developing and after the photo developes. Infact, with the SX-70 film, you can continue to manually manipulate the photo for hours and even days after it has developed. That is really what I like about this particular polaroid film.

When I finished playing around with the film , I then did a wet transfer onto photo paper. I was thinking of doing it on rice paper, but, the last image I tried this with fell apart...lol...

A wet image transfer is really easy. Here is a small tutorial on how to do this. here Be advised, this tut is off site....

The best thing about wet image transfers is that you can combine as many photos as you want. Using this, I was able to combine the photos and make this collage !!!

Then, I scanned the photo into photoshop and added the frame. The original frames get ripped off the polaroid during the transfer etc. And that was it....

I should mention that when doing this, it is very important to have a visual idea of how you want the final image to be. This way, when you take your double or triple exposures...you know where to place the images so they blend seamlessly....

This one is dedicated to Bill because it is his foot and eye...lol....
